Home Inspection 101

By
Real Estate Agent with Miramar Beach, Florida

There are plenty of things to do before putting your home on the market.

While this one is optional it’s especially good to consider if you’ve lived in your home for a long time or you have an older home. It can cost between $200 to $600.

There are pros and con issues about this type of activity.  It can aid in advertising the home as having had an inspection but then you need to decide if the issues that are identified will be attended to.  Some things you might not want to know.

In Florida, the seller must identify any problems that might material affect the value of the home.  A home inspection definitely will highlight any problems.  AND unfortunately, two different home inspectors might identify different items and put different levels of importance on them.

so again it all depends

If you’re on the fence, send me a message so I can add my expertise to the issue.
