Long Island Buyer Wants A Scenic View

Long Island Buyer Asked, "What Is A Great View"?

This is really subjective as everyone has their own opinion of what a great view is to them.

As an example, we showed a beautiful condo with a lake view. Larry and I thought it was a great location with the sparkling spraying fountain that overlooked every window in the unit. The buyer didn't like it. Showed it to another client...and they loved the water views.

We showed another potential buyer a home with a nature preserve in the backyard. He didn't like it. When we showed this property to another buyer, he loved the privacy of the property with an occasional deer running through the yard.

A few weeks ago, we showed a home with a pool and the buyer decided she didn't want a pool. Last evening, we showed a home with a lovely in-ground pool, and the sellers kept the pool open and the lights on surrounding the pool even though it was a cool 50 degrees out. The first thing the buyers said was "This home has a great view" and we are submitting an offer today.

So, a scenic view means something different to each buyer. Even couples don't always agree what a great view is...

Different Buyers...Different "Views"!

When you're ready to buy your Long Island home with that "Great" view, call Lawrence & Sheila Agranoff at our Cell: 631-805-4400.

Good morning Larry and Sheila. We have an outstanding view of downtown Chicago from our home in the sky. Due to crime and the pandemic we are considering relocation to the suburbs and the loss of view is an issue! Enjoy your day.

Hi Larry & Sheila, Long Island has was of the best view in the area. My favorite is the fishing piers at Montauk Point. The view for me is out of this world.

Good morning, Sheila and Larry... I've had with golf course views. So I guess it's true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :)

I once turned down a lovely apartment in Paris with gorgeous views of the Seine and the Tour Eiffel... why? Well it was over a restaurant. In Paris we had no air conditioning and windows were open in warm weather... the last thing I needed or wanted was the noise at night from outdoor diners and the constant smell of frites. I selected an apartment with no special views but it was perfect for our needs and quiet and no smells.

A most appropriate post for the statement:  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  I would have opted for the woods and the views and not the fence.

Hello Sheila and Larry - "views" can definitely mean something different to each buyer.  Asking how they define it can help find that "ideal".
