Sunrise Time Lapse Video of Marshall Meadow in Mount Vernon Ohio

Thanks Kathy!   I actually mounted my camera gear to a park sign so that the camera would remain secure and not have any image shake.  The camera was recording for about an hour and I started about 30 minutes before sunrise to capture the cloud motion and fog.  

I find that amazing!!!  I hope you share more of them. 

What kind of camera gear do you use Sam?  This is really really cool!

Thanks Anna!  I actually shot this one with a GoPro Hero 10 using a camera mount and tripod.  The trick is to lock the explosure before you start shooting and do the math to figure out how many images per second you want to shoot.  Most video is shot at 30 frames a second so there are some calculations required to figure out the desired frame rate and the length of video you want.

Good morning Grant!  Thank you and I will shoot some more sunrise and sunset time-lapse videos from one of our lakes here in Knox County Ohio.  The reflection of the sun and clouds in the time-lapse video adds an entirely unique dimension to the video.

Thank You Debe!  I, like you are a huge fan of sunrises and sunsets.  Setting up your camera to shoot these types of videos isn't difficult if you have some patience, a huge digital camera card and an external battery to keep the camera recording so that the internal battery doesn't go dead.
