Centennial Olympic Park - July 4th

Fantastic Fourth Celebration at Stone Mountain - July 3rd-5th
There will be a Laser show each of the three evenings located on the Memorial Lawn of Stone Mountain Park. However, on July 4th the laser show will begin at 9:30pm and the fireworks display on this evening will take place on both the top and bottom of the mountain. A second laser show will begin 15-30 minutes after the fireworks display has ended and there will be no fireworks display after the second laser show.
Guest are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy all of the attractions that the Park offers. There will be no free park re-entry allowed. Special event parking fees will be in effect July 3-5: $10.00 per vehicle (14 or fewer passengers) for a one-time permit or $35 for an annual permit.

The City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department's take place on Friday, July 4th, from 4pm to 10:15pm at Wills Park.

Red, White, and Dunwoody!!
On Friday, July 4, 2008 at 9:30 a.m., the Dunwoody Homeowners Association and the Dunwoody Crier Newspaper will host the annual 4th of July Parade featuring marching bands, floats, clowns, animal units and local celebrities. Last year the parade attracted over 2,000 participants and 25,000 spectators!

City of Cumming 4th of July Celebration
The City of Cumming has the BEST 4th of July Celebration around!! Our Independence Day Celebration begins on July 3rd at 6pm with various vendors including food and drink, inflatable's for kids, a live band, wonderful fireworks display along with an all age dance contest following the fireworks. Bring your blanket, set out on the lawn and enjoy the festivities. There is no admission or parking fee for the July 3rd celebration! On July 4th come and enjoy the famous Steam Engine Parade beginning at 10am. The Parade will include steam engines, antique tractors, antique cars, and many other floats decorated in the spirit of the holiday. Following the parade you can take a closer look at the steam engines, tractors and cars at the Fairgrounds.

July 4th Parade, Concert and Fireworks in Decatur
Join Decatur's in a July 4th Pied Piper Parade as it winds through downtown Decatur. Decorate your wagon, ride your bike, skate, or walk this event.
The parade begins at 6pmat the First Baptist Church of Decatur and ends at the Community Bandstand on the square with a presentation of colors and the Star Spangled Banner.
A concert featuring the Callanwolde Concert Band, begins at 7pm in the Community Bandstand. Fireworks begin at dark (approximately 9pm) and are shot from the top of the DeKalb County parking deck.
