Some Roadside Mechanics Take Too Long

As I was driving back from an appointment this week, I noticed an unusual site just off the roadway.

The car was pulled far enough off the road, but evidently the repair was a little beyond his abilities as it appears he had been there for a while.

His passengers were equally as frustrated.

The car is a 1928 Ford Model A Woody Wagon.  Don't know the age of the mechanic or his passengers.

Hi Ed - I love that decoration.  When I used to drive the Cross Bronx Espressway in the 70's I would see a car off the road in the morning and it were there in the evening the car  was only a skeleton.😅

That is a cool scene, I am glad you shared it with us.  It seems as if he has been working on that for a very long time, haha.

Good morning, Ed... that is just so clever and so much fun! Of course, sometimes you just need to know when to "give up" and call Triple A.

Hello Ed - waiting - waiting - waiting.   Makes you wonder why they didn't call a reliable mechanic when they had the chance.

Haha, that's so cute. I thought this was going to be a story about an actual road side assistance delay - too funny.
