Sunday in the Wine Country!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants DRE00893924

Saturday morning, as we drove to the wine country, and parked the car, the temperature was 38 F.  They were expecting it to have a high of 88.

Earlier this month, the grapes were picked, they are resting in large casks fermenting.  The vines are bare of fruit, as pictured above.

Soon, their leaves will yellow and fall off. The vineyard will be dormant until Spring.

The harvesters did leave a bit here and there for the birds as pictured in the close up. They are still enjoying a bit of Chardonnay here and there!

Another season is starting, and the 2019 wines are being released, at the moment.  So far, the reviews are positive. The 2021 harvest will be released in 2023.

Happy Sunday,

Wishing Everyone a Wonderful Day

And a great week ahead!

Hi Ron and Alexandra Seigel - The vineyard and wine business are so interesting.  Our area has really taken off with vineyards in the Verde Valley. I think tours of different vineyards are always fun and enlightening.  Of course, the tasting afterward is not too shabby either. LOL!

Kathy Streib the ones left behind are not up to the standard of wine manager.  If you look closely at the grapes, they have two colors, so they are not up to standard.  The birds do not mind.  A

Brian England the harvest happens early in the evening usually here for Pinot and Chardonnay grapes.  In Napa our home was next to a large vineyard, and they harvested in the morning.  It all depends on the winemaker.  A

I always enjoy visiting Wine Country in California in autumn, Alexandra.  Especially, when the leaves begin to turn golden, but the fruit is still on the vine.
