Some members leave the "more" out of ActiveRain.
They use ActiveRain as a blogging site and nothing further.
And while that may be enough for them, it's a missed opportunity.
If you've been here more than a little bit, you'll start to notice there's something special about this community.
Unlike some real estate Facebook groups I've seen, the brawling here is at a minimum, typically no worse than a mild corrective shock if someone tries to break the community rules :)
People here are willing to help.
Over the years I've reached out to various members when I needed specific expertise. Probate, VA loans, short sales, Wordpress themes and customization, how to use Facebook for business, the list could go on and on.
There are people here willing to write tutorials about how to do things that will improve your ActiveRain experience, boost your lead generation, gain tips for how to deal with multiple offers (I heard of escalation clauses here long before anyone in my office ever told me about them), and plenty more.
Over the years a lot of my interaction with ActiveRain members has moved off this platform and to other areas (Facebook groups, texts, etc.) as some members migrated off the community. But bottom line those relationships were established here in the Rain and part of the "more" that we can gain. I've sent and received referrals from people that are no longer active here, but we know and trust each other because of this place.
So how you use the Rain is up to you.
Maybe it's just a blogging platform.
Or maybe it's "more".
You get to decide.
Until next Tuesday, just Ask An Ambassador if you need help,
