Friday Fun...What Was Yours?

It’s Friday and it’s time to have some fun. This week while I was editing my grey...ok, white hairs, my stylist told me about her Halloween costume she’d created...Maleficent!

Alexandra has a young daughter who has not one but three costumes for the night. She’s having so much fun decorating her house, inside and out, and preparing for the throngs of sugar craving children who will descend on her home on October 31st.

I can remember only one of my childhood Halloween costumes...I was a rabbit. Not sure why other than Peter Rabbit was my favorite tale in my wee years.

Many many years later, Larry and I had to come up with a Halloween costume for a friend’s party. I don’t think there were as many options for buying ready-made costumes and 40 years ago, Jeff Bezos was in high school, so no online ordering it. |

So, my dear Larry came up with this costume idea as he was checking on some of his houses that were being built.

Meet the Brick and the Bricklayer!
(hold your snickers!!)

What about you?  Do you have a favorite Halloween costume

you’ve worn???

Halloween was always a treat for me as a child as hundreds of children would set to the streets to plunder the neighborhood for candy. We haven't had a trick or treater come to our door in nearly 20 years Kathy 🙁

My most memorable Halloween costume was also a rabbit.  I think it was the only store bought costume that I was provided during my childhood.

Ok Will Hamm I would have loved to have seen you!!!

Oh no Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS We would have over 125 come to our home in our last two communities. But here, we're on a cul-de-sac so we don't get many at all. I miss that.   It's another reason why I didn't want to move to a 55+ community.

Hi Kathy Streib - What a great costume idea. I love the line "Jeff Bezos was in high school so no online ordering!".  Those were the days.

You two were adorable! Clever costume too!

You know I've had many favorite costumes...but not one memory of a costume as a child. I do remember that we would go to several towns and come home with a pillow case full of candy, though.

Here is one of my favorites. Me, my mom, my aunt and two of my cousins were a hand for a Halloween party at a Halloween themed weekend at a resort we went to. We won first place!
