We are good at planning ahead. So, for months now I have been scouring the Internet for the right wrap for my special event outfit. I have found beautiful items, which I have ordered, and sent back the next day. Yesterday, I was at the post office returning another one. This was my 10th try.
Ron suggested that we try the brick and mortar way. Yesterday morning, we drove down towards Los Angeles, and stopped at the Woodland Hills Center. And within minutes of walking into Nordstroms, there was the perfect item. We both spotted at the same time, and it was perfect!
I admit, I am fussy. It has to be perfect for an evening as well as fit our casual Santa Barbara lifestyle. I do not want it to just hang in my closet gathering dust.
I enjoy browsing the Internet, and I am certainly an Amazon fan, however, it does not replace human contact and the ability to see something, touch it and try it on.
Even though, we had to deal with wearing a mask, this was a wonderful experience. And oh, what great service I had from a lovely human being who understood me perfectly! Happy Friday!
