In Flower Mound, Texas you’re not going to get an ocean, mountain, valley, a forest of trees of many colors, or a lake with spectacular views but you will be shocked! Surprised! Simply in awe! This evening was amazing! I’m sharing my secret that more than likely no other REALTOR has ever told their clients who were moving to Texas. Seeing is believing! Let me show you and tell you why.
It’s easy to fall in love with Flower Mound, Texas. The best time to see Fall colors are in late October until the end of November. Today's temperature was a high 87 and after a short rainfall at 9:30 p.m. it was 73 degrees. The weather is comfortable. No matter where you are, who you are, how much you want to spend, or where you live in Flower Mound, regardless if it’s a one story, two story, starter home, luxury home, townhouse, rental home, condo, and no matter what type of neighborhood (with or without an HOA), this time of the year is the BEST to see the greatest FALL COLORS in the world and it doesn’t cost you any money. All you have to do is wait until evening; then look up into the sky!
I began taking my photographs at 6:45 p.m. while waiting for the traffic light to change so that I could safely make my left hand turn to go home. But lo and behold, what I saw took my breath away! Instead of turning, I went straight and safely pulled over to the side of the road, a road less frequently traveled. This is the sequence in the order I saw and I'm willing to share them all with you. Please let me know what you think. Oh, and by the way, this is my final entry for the October Challenge for Kathy Streib.
I waited for the light to change at the intersection on Aberdeen and Long Prairie Road. No one was behind me, next to me, or in front of me. The time was 6:45 p.m.
When the light changed, I proceeded on the other side of the road, stopped the car, and took photographs. The feeling was empowering! I never saw anything like this before.
There was a plane flying through the golden passageway through the clouds. Can you imagine how the pilot, flight attendants, and passengers felt!
It is hard not to feel emotional when you see a sky like this. All over the world I've seen rain, snow, fog, rainbows, dark clouds, bright sun, cloud formations, shooting stars, sun eclipse, the full moon, the galaxy, aurora borealis, planets, clear sky, windy weather, and lightening too. I don't believe anyone on earth has seen the same sunset twice. It's such a great phenomenon!
I would like to end by saying our lives are made possible by energy and everything around us is a gift, something to appreciate and to focus our attention on all the greatness that comes our way. No matter who you are, where you live, or what you have the best things in life are free.
There are some sunsets that put on a light show display with grandeur and beauty that is hard to describe unless you happen to have a camera on hand. Whoever was the mastermind behind putting a camera inside a smartphone was an absolute genius!
Through the photographs, I hope you feel the energy that is hard to put into words unless you are the actual observer. With sky views like this, it's not hard to stop wishing and hoping for something better than what's right inside your own backyard or waiting for you as you approach a traffic signal. All you really need to know about the mysteries of the universe are there for the taking and to embrace, love it, and enjoy. Life is short. Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!
