Statistics show that an increasing number of prospective home buyers are narrowing the search for their next home by reviewing listings on line. This means that in many cases they are drawing their first impression of your clients property from your listing images.
As gas prices rise we can exect this trend to continue to put more and more weight on your images. So, how important are the listing photos? Let me put it this way. If it were me out there competing in this market for qualified buyers, I would seriously consider hiring a professional photographer cost permitting.
I know what you are thinking. That's easy for me to say, I'm not the one writing the check each time a listing comes and goes. I know what you mean. I have been involved in the real estate market as a professional and an investor for over 22 years. I know that you may not have the time and resources to spring for a pro each and every time. All I am saying is that listing images are becoming that important.

The wonderful thing about digital photography is that it is never too late! With software available from Adobe and others, it is possible to improve upon all but the most heinous photographic faux pas. So let the fun begin!
