Sometimes Nature is Colorful, Sometimes Not
I stumbled across this photo from Kauai, from a trip we took in 2017. Kauai is nicknamed the Garden Isle for good reason, a very lush, green and colorful place from the mountains to the valleys.
This photo was taken, as is, as the sun was setting from Kilauea Road. A rather different kind of sunset that my camera interpreted in its own way. Interesting trees, aren't they? They appear to be Cook Pine trees based on my research.

Black and white photos are sometimes better! I have an art gallery friend in SFO who takes lots of b and w photos and posts on Instagram - they are wonderful.

Kauai is aptly named as the Garden Isle. It is that and more. And like Endre Barath, Jr. I really love black and white photos. I also like black and white movies, as imagination take care of color, and black a white shows so much more. A
It really does Grant Schneider I really enjoy black and white photos - maybe need to start doing more of that.

Jeff sometimes pictures in black, white, and multiple shades of gray, can be as beautiful as those in full color. I would say this one qualifies as one of those.
