There is a pumpkin patch in Morgan Hill, CA that serves the residents of this South Santa Clara County (Silicon Valley) very nicely.
It is located on the corner of Main and Condit, just east of the 101 overpass.
Morgan Hill is a wonderful bedroom community of San Jose, sought out for a slower lifestyle, less traffic and not as crowded as its neighbor to the North, San Jose.
A wide mixture of housing opportunities from condos to large, executive type homes, some on large lots, make this a truly wonderful place to live.
The eastern part of Morgan Hill is largely suburban, and the Western part (west of the 101 freeway) is suburban as well, with some larger lots as well as homes in Holiday Lake Estates surround Anderson Reservoir and Jackson Oak, a community in the hills offering spectacular views of the Santa Clara Valley below
For those who love to ride bicycles, Morgan Hill is home to Specialized Bicycles, where they have their headquarters.
Morgan Hill's downtown is quaint and walkable. There is a recently built parking structure to accommodate a lot of cars. There are many restaurants dotting the main drag, which is Monterey Road as well as a recently revamped movie theater. Recently built condos near the Southern Pacific train station makes for a worry free commute and is heavily used by people who prefer to live in a town with a small town feel. Apple and Google both send a bus into town daily to provide transit to workers for those two companies. Wifi on board, of course.
Lastly, Morgan Hill is known for the Mushroom Mardi Gras and the annual Strawberry Festival, which draws people from all over northern California.
Ideal weather and homes generally costing less than San Jose, it has become a place to live for those who choose not to deal with traffic hassles, and yet still be able to afford a home. Most people do commute.
