Tomorrow is Halloween, and it was a day I always looked forward to as a kid, because of all the candy I would get to enjoy for days.  Likewise both my boys looked forward to Halloween as well, and now my oldest son gets to enjoy it with my gorgeous granddaughter.

I still continue to enjoy Halloween, but now the joy comes from watching all the little goblins who come to my door.  My neighborhood has lots of kids, and we have 80 homes, and 80 condos very close to each other, so kids get to knock on a lot of doors in a very short time.  We even have parents drive their kids to our neighborhood from other houses near by.

It will be a constant stream of kids at my door from about 6:00 p.m. to about 8:00 p.m.  My wife enjoys the little goblins even more than I do.  She is like a little kid handing out candy, and talking to them.

This is one of the most fun days of the year, and I hope everyone is extra careful and takes extra precaution to keep this a happy and fun day.  Happy Halloween 2021!!!

My wife gets so excited to see the little kids all dressed up.  We don't live in an area with a lot of kids so I just don't know what will happen to all that extra candy.

Hi George,  Happy Halloween - the day has really changed over the years for us.  When you are young it's so exciting to dress up and get candy.  Then you do the same when your children are young.  Now, I am waiting to be able to enjoy this with my grandchildren.  We live in an area where not many children visit us.  Though we do enjoy seeing those who do come here.

George my parents and Diane's parents always loved handing out candy.... after 19 months of Covid Scare I told Diane this year I will not decorate the house nor will we be handing out candy.... Endre

I remember as a kid we had a kitchen door and front door that exited to the same porch.  Dad would secretly hand out shots to the parents while Mom would hand out treats to the kids at the front door.  Our house became a very popular stop on Halloween as well.  LOL  It is a fun day no doubt.  M

Oh my gosh, I was SUCH a fan of Halloween as a child and that wore off on both of my boys too, George! We had a delightul time in most of our homes - even after the boys flew the coop - but, we've been 2 years without any visitors to our home on Halloween! We are at the end of a very long street with larger lots and it's very dark on our street - not a great place to get a lot of candy!

SO, we go hang out with good friends and watch the kiddos in the neighborhood stop in the cul-de-sac! Hey, where there's a will, there's a way - we will find the fun! LOL
