5 tips to disinfect and sanitize your home properly
Everyone is busy cleaning their houses because there are new viruses arising everyday so, it is vital to know that merely cleaning won't be enough to fight all of that because not many folks know that cleaning is different from sanitizing the house. While moping and sweeping remove the dust, sanitizing the house kills the germs. You may do the cleaning by yourself or if you want to take it to next level then you'll hire a trusted cleaning services alongside a good disinfection service as both goes hand in hand.
Here are some tips to sanitize your Home in these times when we have become prone to so many viruses:-
1. Getting the materials required For Sanitization:
You would need different types of disinfectants to sanitize different surfaces. All-purpose cleaners that are alcohol-based, or bleach & phenyl-based cleaners also help in disinfecting the bottom, windows, and hard surfaces. For couches, sofa covers, and other upholstery you'd need detergent.
2. Precautions you would like to require While Handling the Cleaning Products:
Along with knowing the thanks to disinfect your house, you want to also know the precautions to require Wear rubber or other forms of protective gloves, mask, and boots while cleaning. You would like to need these precautions seriously because Spraying and introducing bleach or another disinfectant into your body won't protect you against COVID-19 and will be dangerous
Do not under any circumstance spray or introduce bleach or the other disinfectant into your body. These substances are often poisonous if ingested and cause irritation and damage to your skin and eyes.
Bleach and disinfectant should be used carefully to disinfect surfaces only. Remember to keep chlorine (bleach) and other disinfectants out of reach of children.
If you don’t have an idea of the way to disinfect and sanitize the surfaces then you would like to appoint an expert for sanitization services and as they're well trained for this job they go to try and do that with all precautions within the absolute best manner.
3. How do you sanitize the Kitchen?
You must Use an all-purpose disinfectant or soap with water to clean the cabinets, platform, sink and other surfaces. Then you'll wipe them with a spoonful of bleach mixed in water.
Do not use the same disinfectant for your utensils and surfaces that are available close contact alongside your food. So as to wash the utensils and surfaces that are available in close with the food use a soap or bar with anti-germ properties for the same.
Clean the fruits and vegetables by rinsing them with running water. Don’t use soap on them. For leafy vegetables like cabbage, remove the first 2-3 leaves then use it.
4. How to Disinfect a Room?
Floors must be cleaned with phenyl and other disinfecting liquids. You’ll wipe the ground with a floor cleaner firstly then second wipe with a disinfectant.
All hard surfaces are often cleaned with multi-purpose surface cleaners that are readily available within the market. If you're using bleach, the right amount of bleach to water is approx. 5ml in 1 liter*.
For sofa covers and other upholstery, use detergent and warm water. You’ll add vinegar in water to get rid of stains.
5. How to Clean the Bathroom?
Use bathroom cleaners (many known brands are available) or phenyl to disinfect the floors.
Wipe other surfaces like washbasins and bathtubs with all-purpose cleaners and wipes.
Bathrooms are a haunt for all types of hard-to-clean messes, but you will be ready to tackle the majority of them with the help of white vinegar! The high acidity level of vinegar helps loosen mineral deposits (such as lime & rust) and dissolve soap scum, making it perfect for bathroom cleaning!
Use toilet cleaners to disinfect the rest room seat.
Though you can do all of those by yourself but if you want to get the most effective results and ensure proper safety from viruses and bacteria then you must always hire a sanitization service in Dubai for the work. You may look for “sanitization services near me” in order to find the best disinfection services in your locality and thereby choose the one that best suits your needs and budget.

Wayne Martin thanks for stopping by and while cleaning is one of my least favorite things to do, I always enjoy the work when it is finished.  Have a wonderful day!

Hi Norma... I for one am not disinfecting or sanitizing. My house is kept clean all the time in a "normal" way. It's already been proved that all these viruses don't transfer via surfaces.  I stopped this nonsense one month into the pandemic... and no one in my house has gotten ill.

Nina Hollander, Broker I agree to a certain extent but the kitchen is really like the germiest place in your house so I disinfect and clean it daily to prevent major food illnesses.

Norma, I do think this is important with our listings, but like Nina, I don't do this around my personal home.    I wash my hands when I get home.

Joan Cox I do agree and washing hand I really think is the best way to do it personally.
