Things To Do This Weekend │ Freedom Park, Naples FL
Let go of your worries and free yourself from stress at the Fred W. Coyle Freedom Park, a 50-acre oasis in Naples, FL!
The Park provides around 3500 feet of boardwalk and trails which lets you wander through a glorious wetland habitat for various wildlife. Meet many gators, fish, and birds throughout the adventure or marvel at the 5-acre lake within the park. Moreover, you can wander through the woodlands and native plants and learn about them through informative plaques along the walk trails. Collier residents may also rent the 2500 square-foot education facility for private events. Besides walking through the park, visitors would also bike along the boardwalk and take a picnic at the designated areas.
Of course, another must-see feature of the park is the Freedom Memorial, an impressive American Flag sculpture sitting on a map of the United States. An eagle is also featured at the top of its flagpole. The sculpture was commissioned to remember the 9/11 terrorist attacks and honor those lost in the tragedy.
