When I started my real estate business in January 2003 I did not set out to specialize in Probate Real Estate Services.
Even though I had listed homes in probate early in my real estate career I had not declared probate to be my area of specialization.
I have loved and lost several family members and friends over the years yet when my sister died suddenly in April 2014 and my mother died a year later in April 2015, is when probate real estate found and chose me.
As Aura recently commented, "I would never know how you felt at those specific moments because I have never experienced it."
I had managed my mother's care for nearly ten (10) years prior to her death. She lived in a skilled nursing facility for most of that time following a stroke.
To understand through experience what my clients have dealt with managing the care of a parent and then managing the affairs of their estate, as the executor of probate or a successor trustee of the living trust, makes a huge difference to my clients.
My heart and soul go into serving all of my clients. There is an entirely different realm of service and care provided to my probate real estate clients. I am more to them than a real estate broker hired to list a probate home for sale.
