Closing Update!
You might ask how this is might fit in as a Thanksgiving Blessing. This is what we do as REALTORS®. I do this to help make the lives of people I work with better.
My focus on this is the person who worked on this project and the clients. I gave my clients the name of this person because I know the quality of his work. I have seen it first hand and more importantly, I knew I could trust him to meet the deadlines in this post-pandemic building and remodel atmosphere where overruns and lost deadlines are part of the current process.
This entire process started in mid-August with the signing of the employment agreement and concluded last week as this listing closed and recorded. The remodel took around one month, unheard of in today's post-pandemic era. I helped my sellers monitor the remodel. My images and almost daily communication helped the sellers to see what was going on. In fact, my sellers never came to Sedona to see the results!
This unit last sold in 2014 for $183,000. It was all original then, and when I got it as a listing, it was still in an original state. Built in 1983, this condo/townhouse needed a complete makeover. Saying that the unit was "tired" is a huge understatement. My valuation with no remodeling work would have been in the $300,000 + range. With multiple offers and even an escalation clause, this home sold to the person who really wanted it. BTW, it did appraise!
Thank you, Cesar, for all your help. You have been a true Thanksgiving Blessing for me and my sellers.
