Friday Fun...Now I Know How a Turkey Feels
Most of the food has been packaged and sent home with family and friends. Heck, we had so much food that wasn’t eaten, I was tempted to take some over to our neighbors.
And then I remembered that both of my neighbors on either side of us were out of town and my neighbor across the street had his own gathering, that by the way, he could not enjoy because he had a detached retina and had surgery yesterday.
So while his guests and family dined on turkey etc, my Jerry spent Thanksgiving in his bedroom. Don’t feel too sorry for him, though, he was happily watching football.
We had about 32 for Thanksgiving. It was so good to have the whole family there. No discussion of politics was allowed (by me) and everyone had a good time.
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving...spending it however you wanted...eating whatever you wished...and being with whomever you cared about.
