Friday Photo: A Favorite Blooming Tree!

This tree can be seen in our coastal areas.  The blooms that were formerly bright yellow are now various shades of coral.  In another month, it will drop its blooms and its leaves and be barren.

As spring approaches, it will have new green leaves, and once again bright yellow blooms.  Nature was resplendent today with temperatures reaching 68 F degrees!

Happy Friday!

HI Ron and Alexandra Seigel - I am not familiar with that tree but I can see that the weather is perfect for the day after Thanksgiving.  We are at 65º today.  We had a lot of wind the past two days.  It is much nicer when it is calm! Happy Friday!

I don't now about that tree but the manner in which it goes into hibernation is most unusual with blossoms before bare limbs

Alexandra not familiar with this tree either, on a side note half the vegetation I have no idea what their names are but love them anyway. Now with that said hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving and I was glad it was not higher than 74 for us while I was baking the Turkey:)Endre

I see my favorite Palm tree in the background -- I did not go out side today and I stayed up lastnight until 3 am  so I slept late -  I think a ghost cleaned my kitchen up or perhaps it was me --   it was very cold here today 42 with a windchill of 30 something  I had a delightful day indoors - Happy Friday

Hello Alexandra and Ron - it's rare that I can identify a tree but I can certainly admire them on a regular basis.  And for many reasons.

Hi Alexandra... this reminds me of our crepe myrtle trees here in Charlotte. Mine has dropped the last of it flowers in the past couple of weeks... now we wait for the new ones to come back in June.

Sixty eight sounds really good to me A. however I was happy with our 43, bright sunny sky, and just a slight breeze. Wishing you and Ron and Alexandra Seigel a wonderful rest of your weekend.
