For the first time since I have lived here, my HOA has a Christmas Lighting Contest and we all have to be finished by December 15th. Many homeowners have already outdone themselves, and have their lights on at light. Starting to look a bit like Christmas!
How many of you still have a packed refrigerator with leftovers? Be sure not to leave them in there too long.....
I know the National News did a snippet on us, but Denver STILL has not had measurable snowfall. In fact, we will hit 65 degrees today again. Nothing in sight for at least the next week - it is to remain very nice. Don't get me wrong, it is quite nice, but we sure do need some moisture. There were flurries on Wednesday this week, but it did not stick.
Had friends over for dinner last night, made lasagna, salad, and garlic bread, and actually turned out very good. (I am NOT a cook generally) Wish I would have taken a photo before I put it in the oven, it was a good-looking pan! We had fun catching up with this couple, as they are older, and haven't seen them since before COVID. Lucy finally warmed up to Walter, and he actually got to pet her.
