Have you ever watched a deer eat up close?

Most people had a chance to see a deer and especially a large buck eat from an ultra close viewing perspective.  For those who have never had this type of experience with a deer, today is your lucky day.  We found a way to mount and hide a GoPro Hero 10 camera inside of a feeding bowl so that we could capture an ultra close up video.  Knox County Ohio is surrounded by gorgeous woods, farmland, and acreage which makes it the ideal location for wildlife and especially for deer.

If you enjoy watching this video please add a comment below and thanks for watching.

If you love the idea of living near nature or would love a home with a large lot, wood or acreage check out the special link we have created which features available Knox County Ohio homes for sale.

Hi Sam- I love this!!!  I'll have to show this to my husband who used to hunt. I wish we'd had one mounted the other night when about 8 raccoon came into our backyard.

Hi Kathy, I am so glad you enjoyed the deer feeding video.  I would loved to see your 8 raccoons in your backyard.  Check out this video from the Raccoon Whisperer https://youtu.be/Ofp26_oc4CA

It's illegal to feed wildlife here, so we wouldn't be able to do this, but we have seen deer eat from a few feet away. And I had a deer decide to pee when it was about 6 feet away. And my husband saw a buck and doe..  um... well, you can figure that one out.

Thanks for the video!

Kat, Thanks for commenting and great insight.  Deer are typically aware of their surroundings which makes them fun to watch because they can be a little skiddish.

Good morning Sam. Like the video although I had a different perspecrtive when I was at a community in Floirda that planted thousands of dollars of plants only to find they were offering appetizers to deer. Enjoy your day.

Wayne, Thanks for commenting and that would be very frustrating to lose thousands of dollars in landscaping.  We are a little more safe here from that because the deer tend to stay in the woods where there is a lot of vegetation.
