12TH ANNUAL FROSTY DAY IN ARMONK

This past Sunday was Frosty Day in Armonk New York.  For the past 12 years this has been celebrated although last year was substantially toned down due to Covid.

As I have mentioned in previous years' posts Frosty has a history in Armonk.  The composer of the song lived in Westchester and was inspired to write the song in Armonk.

The festivities began at noon and lasted well past 5pm with some warm treats at the restaurants in town.

We planned to attend this year with our grandson Max.  Unfortunately Max had a cold.  Look forward to next year when he will get more out of it.

Hello Grant - I am sure Frosty Days in Armonk New York have quite the different meaning than we might experience in Southern California.  Here's hoping Max is feeling better for the rest of the activities taking place this special time.

Brian - he bounced back and my daughter brought him over today so that I could give him an Advent Calendar.

Nina - always next year.  He is much better now.

Pat - when someone discovered that they figured time to have a special day.

Michael - yes, it is all a matter of degrees, so to speak.

Ed - well no snow yet but some flerries.
