By

Metairie Lawn Cemetery is so Historic

The Cemetery was a racetrack in 1838. It became a Confederate Camp in April of 1862 during the Civil Ware. After the Civil War it became homes for the dead. So much work of Art in the Tombs.

The owners of second homes should bring friends and families to visit this area as it is so different that other places in the United States. There are other places to visit as well. People owning second homes in New Orleans can have so many historic places to visit along with so many Fests....

I like to go to so many places to take photos and bring Friends to see fantastic places that are highly historic.

I've been there, Eric... and I loved it. Very similar to the Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires, which I also was fascinated by and the Pere Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, where I would often walk when I lived in Paris.
