Riverwind has 15 various floor plans, each with its own set of features, providing potential homebuyers with a plethora of alternatives. The community's long history ensures that there are always a considerable number of properties available for purchase. The homeowners' association fee covers the maintenance of the common areas and the upkeep of the community grounds, allowing members to take pleasure in the quaint ranch-style architecture while keeping a modest lifestyle in one of the region's most stunning natural settings. Riverwind is home to two separate clubhouses, each having its comforts to offer its residents. Riverwind is mainly comprised of modest suburban single-family houses in Hendersonville, North Carolina. There are 250 lots in the area, around 190 unique dwellings, and more than 300 people living in the community.  In most cases, lots measure between 1,500 and 5,000 square feet in size and often range in price from $300,000 to $700,000K, depending on the location. The homes in the community are typically three to five bedrooms with two or three baths, depending on the layout. There is a "proposed" floorplan for each lot that can be changed at any time during construction. Granite countertops, stainless steel appliance packages, LED lighting throughout, walk-in closets, vaulted ceilings, a laundry/utility room, and a covered front porch are standard features in split floorplans.

Etowah's Riverwind community, located at 2,100 feet, running the length of the Blue Ridge Mountains and combining the best of country life with the conveniences of a rural community, offers a pleasant environment to enjoy.  The 190 homes in Riverwind are connected by a gorgeous labyrinth of cul-de-sacs and tree-lined lanes ideal for strolling and riding. A diverse mix of churches, financial institutions, hospitals, numerous parks, and dozens of shops and restaurants can be found in the surrounding region of the community. The regional airport in Asheville, North Carolina, is roughly 25 minutes away by car, along the North Carolina 280 highway route. As a result of the proximity of Interstates 26 and 40, access by car is exceptionally convenient for residents and visitors in Riverwind.
