The Electrical Life of Louis Wain

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Gwen Fowler Real Estate, Inc 10307

I really did not want to stay up for a movie last night but this one caught my attention and I watched the whole thing in one sitting.  The storyline was based on real-life events. Prime membership is where we rented the show.

The story was a very G-rated movie.  Family issues came up but the artist was not doing drugs, having sex for all to see, or bad language.  His art was unique and is still available today. did I tell you this was a period piece from the late 1900s?

What I loved was the costumes, the art, showing a true family setting --good & bad and feeling good when it ended.

Have time?  Do a good movie, you will feel better for doing it.

Hello Gwen - I have not heard of this movie but with so many entertainment options "out there" that isn't so unusual.  Any film that resonates with you, even if that resonance only lasts while watching it, is a good way to spend time in my opinion.  I am not a Prime Member so the opportunities to see it are not likely.

Of course, films that can prompt additional discussion or thoughts can become a source of longer lasting conversation(and connection).  That, in turn, can be quite good.

The acting is superb and the storyline is very well written.  Two things missing in most of the new movies.

Gwen, thanks for the recommendation, and nice to hear of a movie, that doesn't have profanity throughout!   Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you too.  I hate going to the movies and being embarrassed by the language or nudity.  Check out it happened on  5th Ave.  This is a black and white film with great costumes, a greatstoryline, and a warm fuzzy feeling when it ends.
