A quiet moment in time...

Good morning!
Happy Sunday to you. Today is December 5th, 2021…
It is 5:15 am. I have been relaxing in bed for the last 30 minutes or so…
Relaxing. But not asleep…
Perhaps my body is telling me it is time to wake. Brew a pot of coffee…
Begin my day…
Start my morning routine…
But instead, I reached for my computer and started typing…
No great ideas for an article…
No great words of wisdom to share…
Just a certain comfort for me, sitting with my fingers on home row on my keyboard…
Fingers that can nimbly jump from key to key, expressing any thought that comes to mind…
Always a powerful release for me…
Even without the need for a release, or anything compelling me to type down my thoughts. My feelings. My words…
For perhaps writing has become part of my morning routine?
Perhaps the hypnotic sounds of the keyboard and the ability to clear my head have become one of the most important parts of that routine?
Maybe writing is how I begin my days? Always optional, of course, depending on my mood…
But that first step to my day is perhaps the most important step, because getting started is often the hardest part…
So now that I have started, what is next?
That is easy. For bodies in motion will stay in motion…
And my day has started, with the comfort of a routine to guide me through the next few hours…
The morning is still dark, and the sun won’t be rising for another hour or so…
Will it be a beautiful sunrise? I hope that it will…
Either way, my body is awake. And I am excited about my day…
Perhaps even excited about life?
For every day is a new adventure, and today has not been written yet…
So what does the day hold? Who will I meet today? How will I make a difference?
For life is the greatest story of all, and even the most ordinary moments matter. For those quiet moments are part of our stories. Our days. Our experience…
So, as I wrap up today’s little post, I find myself almost smelling my first cup of coffee. Enjoying that first sip. A sip taken in a quiet house…
Sitting on the couch. Awaiting the sunrise…
Waiting with anticipation for the next moment. The next feeling. The next experience…
For every experience is unique. Every moment is unique. Every day is unique…
And today, my day will be special…
Filled with new adventures, big and small. New conversations. New feelings. New thoughts and ideas…
And I am excited about this day, and the day has begun…

Good morning Ken. I can agree with brewing the coffee. Unlike you who hears the hum of the keys (Iam jealous) when I type it is more like the clank of the keys! Enjoy your day.

Hi Wayne!!  The typing class in high school was probably one of my most valuable classes that I have ever taken...

Have a great day!

I call this a brain dump, and I try to do it daily.  Remove all the clutter taking up space and open up new adventures and ideas.  Glad I am not the only one who sees the need to remove all the brain chatter.

Hi Gwen!!  Brain dump feels good...

I try and put my dump into something worthwhile, and line up my thoughts in some meaningful way...
