Palos Verdes Bluffs Trail | Palos Verdes Neighborhoods
Also known as the palos verdes cliffs, let's take a walk on the bluffs trail south of Terranea starting at a great neighborhood spot where there is free street parking and you enter the trail across that vacant lot at the end of the trail off of Seacove & Coastsite.
CAUTION: stay on the trails! There is no safe public path to the beach on this section of the trail! Dogs are allowed on leash.
The trail walks along the backyards of some homes, raising a couple questions:
1. What kind of housing is in this area? There are condos to own or to rent at the Palos Verdes Bay Club. The homes along Sea Cove are estate homes on approximately 3/4 acres. Nearest to Terranea is a group of four new private homes. To the north before you reach Palos Verdes Drive South is a development of attached homes. And in the middle of all of that is an apartment complex with homes for rent.
2. The palos verdes bluffs trail here raises a second question that this year's California mock trial competition's pretrial argument addresses. How do I know? Besides being a real estate broker, I'm an attorney on inactive status and I help coach a mock trial team in Riverside County.
Our attorney, judge and teacher coaches continue to be impressed by the zeal and hard work of the handful of high school students in mock trial that take on learning constitutional law.
