Tears of Sadness, Tears of Joy

Tonight is the end.

It's the final act.  The final curtain.  The applause will die down, and it will all be over.

Literally!

Yes, tonight is my final performance for Fiddler on the Roof at the Greenville Little Theatre, and I have mixed emotions.  On one hand, it's going to be great getting my evenings and weekends back.  On the other, I have had a BLAST!  This has been the BEST show I've ever been lucky enough to be a part of, and I know that I won't forget it easily.

The friendships I have created and the moments that have occurred are awesome, and it will be a while before I find something that I enjoy as much as this.  I hope to keep in touch with all of my new friends, and perhaps even do another show with some of them if I can go for a fifth play.

The curtain lowers, but perhaps it's not the end - just the beginning of a new show!

I did read a review a while back in the paper and it was all good!  Enjoy the moment for all it's worth!

One of my most favorite plays.   How great to be part of it.

What part did you play?

Virginia,

I was officially the 'Russian Tenor', which is a great solo part in the best song, "To Life", or as some think of it, L'Chaim.  I also had three other minor roles to fill - a soldier, a Jewish singer, and the Mayor of Anatevka.

It was a blast!
