Wonderful Wednesday: Rain Respite!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants DRE00893924

The rain came with a fury on Monday afternoon, and continued until 3PM today (Tuesday).  Prior to the rain, we noticed signs on the construction parts of the freeway warning of flooding ahead.  There was concern that the recent burn areas would also create problems.

None of the predictions came true, even with close to 8 inches at the San Marcos Pass!  The rain added to the Lake Cachuma reservoir.

Ron and I welcome the rain.  And more is on the way next week.

"The best thing one can do when it's raining is to let it rain"

~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Wishing Everyone a wonderful Wednesday.

Hello Alexandra and Ron - When it comes to weather and so many other things in life, I'll leave the predicting of such things to others.  There are always those with their own forecast.

Michael Jacobs I love the rain, and it is so helpful for the hills and the natural landscape that will spring up in Spring.  So far the forecasters have been correct.  It was 38 BRRR degrees when we woke up.  A

Hi Alexandra... eight inches is a boat-load of rain! Amazing that there was no flooding as a result.

Yesterday, while out and about, I noticed Sacramento skies looking similar to the one you have pictured, Alexandra.  And, it seems the heavy rains thoroughly washed clean the blue.  I can't recall seeing looking so clear and transparent for quite sometime.

Nina Hollander, Broker what causes flooding is when the earth is really really dry, we had a good soak prior to this rain, so the water could go down further.  And the burn area had plenty of water also, so what fell seeped in.  A

Ron and Alexandra Seigel - your weather forecast got on my local news channel. I never did hear on the news if it came to fruition. There's something about the smell of rain when it rains just enough and not too much.
