Pictured above is Sandyland Beach at low tide. No doubt it is easy to understand why we watch the tides calendar, and go walking on the beach about an hour before the lowest point.
Usually early in the morning very few are walking, and those who are are with their dogs, who like us like the wide open spaces.

I always marvel at the vast sandy beaches I see pictured Ron and Alexandra Seigel . Very few of the lakes here in ND have naturally sandy beaches.
I was just sitting here dreaming of a beach like that one a few hours ago. After the New Year, I'm going to find my way to one.
