Offering dough to bribe...er, I mean, to get sellers thinking!
Southern Utah continues to be a brisk, seller's market. After losing out to several cash offers and overly emotional multiple offer buyers, I wrote a letter to local home owners, encouraging them to 'think about selling!'
My buyer client's budget is in a very desirable range, where properties are figuratively flying off the shelves when listed! Realizing I needed to get creative and grab attention, so offered some dough as an incentive.
Who can resist that, right?!
I sent the letters out in a large size, hand addressed, colored envelope. Going an extra step for clients to help guide their home buying goals is indeed appreciated. It is amazing what a determined mindset can accomplish.
A mass mailing is also one way to put yourself in front of potential property sellers and get them thinking of listing. If not now, then perhaps, further down the road. It can create a WIN-WIN scenario that best suits all parties.
