Life is too short to spend your precious time trying to convince a person who wants to live in gloom and doom otherwise. Give lifting that person your best shot, but don’t hang around long enough for his or her bad attitude to pull you down. Instead surround yourself with optimistic people!

Yesterday our nephew called.  He is working for a new company, and one of the things he asked the CEO is if it was OK to not work with people he could not stand because of their negativity.  The CEO answered, if you cannot stand them, we would not want to work with them either...good answer!  A

When I started in Real Estate, I worked with Coldwell Banker and was assigned a very nice office space that was awesome. I soon found out why the more successful agents didn't want this office space. It was right next to the water cooler, coffee maker, and back door where the smokers were required to go. 

I have never witnessed  so many negative people in my life. I had to shut my door but could still hear the moaning and groaning. I was constantly interrupted by lonely people opening my door to complain when no one else was available.

I could see and hear why these people were not producing and at the time was their last stop before being asked to leave the company. 

It always comes to mind when I get a negative thought stuck in my head...
