Mary and Dick Greenberg - last post 2020
Some people are just gutsy. Dick Greenberg is one of them. Of course, he has the benefit of over thirty years of marriage to Mary who is always there to help stabilize him along his chosen paths!
For example, when he needed knee replacement, Dick being Dick, decided to do both at one time! Recovered quickly and was back on his bicycle and out enjoying the Colorado vistas.
Not too long ago, Mary and Dick sold their original home and built a comfortable ranch – getting exactly the home they wanted to live in now.
In Florianópolis, Brazil, November 2019, Mary and Dick enjoyed their last pre-Covid adventure. Wonder where they will go next?
Before entering the Real Estate field, Dick traveled a varied path. He grew up in Atlanta, attended Tulane University (BA) and UCLA (MA), earning degrees in economics. After two years volunteering with the Peace Corps in Venezuela, Dick began a 30-year career in community economic development, eventually managing organizations in Pueblo and Loveland, as well as building a successful consulting business.
Dick obtained his Real Estate Broker's license in 1994 and worked on commercial and industrial projects in Northern Colorado and Washington State prior to teaming up with Mary. And that – as he will tell you with loving admiration for her - was his best move ever - being able to team up with Mary.
Mary, on the other hand, grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado. After years spent in corporate work, she began her real estate career. She’s always been a successful innovator in real estate, finding new and better ways to serve her clients. In 1994, she was the first Realtor in Northern Colorado to have her own web page, and has won national recognition for her internet marketing efforts.
Let’s jump to 2021… 
Business changes for Mary and Dick, due to the Covid-19 reorientation of everyone’s lives, included closing down their physical office space and working from home. Another major business change was working with no other agents, buckling down to just the two of them.
Together, Mary and Dick decided to concentrate their efforts on Marketing differently than they had done before. Although the new effort worked out well for them, those of us on ActiveRain sorely missed reading their posts. Mary and Dick specialize in the greater Fort Collins area in towns including Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Windsor, Berthoud, Wellington and Johnstown and are always happy to take good AR referrals if we have any for them.
If you weren’t familiar with his work, when posting on ActiveRain. Dick was one of the AR Kings of Market Reports*. A humorous post from time to time was a gift from him to his readers! Speaking of which…
Back in January 2020, in Dick’s last post - “Grab Bag” , he said:

* Dick says that “Market Reports are boring and I can’t imagine anyone reading more than the first sentence of any of them.
