The sun is setting on 2021. It was a very good year despite it being a tough year.
I do empathize with those that lost jobs, my bride lost hers too.
I empathize with those that had/have COVID, we had friends and acquaintances pass away from it and both my bride and I had it in January 2020 too.
I will not say it was a "crazy year" as the news does; it was a busy and blessed year.
I will not say it was a bad year as I hear so many say in conversations, I didn't participate in the pandemic in 2021, it was over for me the day I got my second vaccination. I changed my mindset that day and stayed positive, focused, used common sense, respected other's wishes (store owners and airlines, etc.) and stayed growth-oriented and busy-busy at work.
I do not "wish for a better 2022", rather I'll dive head first into the New Year with my flexible plan with uncompromising goals and make it the best year I can.
2021 was a fantastic year. Why? Because I chose to make it one. I did not take the bait on all the nonsense, the news or the social media mine fields.
I hope we can move forward and united as a country in 2022, I wish you and yours all the best in health, happiness and the opportunities for success.
Life is truly what we make of it, whether it's sunny or pouring rain. The fact I always remind myself of, is that even when the clouds are dark and the rain is fierce, up above the storm, the sun is still shining out of sight...
and thank God I have a wonderful view of it from our balcony!
It's a Good Life!
I was taught to think of it as a "good" life because shit happens;
so it's not always great, but it can be quite often good!
Happy New Year!
