2021 was another rollercoaster year for homebuyers in Julington Creek Plantation as they saw homes in this amazing community skyrocket in price and go off the market as fast as they came on.
Of the 270 homes sold in this community during 2021, only 62 were on the market for longer than 30 days. That's less than the 72 homes which were off the market within 5 days of the listing going active.
The 12-month change in list price for the neighborhood is + 40.6% at over $530,000. the highest home sold for $1,392,500 and included 6,394 sq ft with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms in the Plantation Estates community of Julington Creek. The lowest-priced home sold for $255,000 and included 1,414 sq ft with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The limited amount of townhomes in the community sold between $194,900 and $290,000.
It's hard to imagine what will happen throughout 2022 in this current world we are living in. Will price growth come back to reality and under double digits or will demand continue to outpace supply and cause more headaches for potential buyers. Interest rates will obviously play a big factor in the housing market in 2022 and the Federal Reserve's actions will affect us all this year.
