Give Me Two Minutes and I'll Give You the Secrets of Real Estate Success

Real Estate Sales Representative with Keller Williams Katy @ Cinco Ranch

I make a point of telling my buyer clients, “I’m so much fun to work with until you break one of my Four Rules for Real Estate Success. Then, it’s not a pretty picture!”

  1. Location, location, location
  2. It’s better to buy an ugly house on a good lot; you can always fix a house but a lot is permanent.
  3. Buy on the low end, price-wise, of a higher neighborhood.
  4. The only time to think about resale is before you buy.

So, there we go! Should I smile or throw an ugly tantrum?

Sounds like some good rules to me although I never saw them laid out that way.  Happy selling.

Go ahead and throw a tantrum (in private) so you can wear that nice smile of yours in public!

Julie, Stick to your guns, stick to those rules.  We all should have rules.  I have new rules.  No entering my vehicle unless you are ready, willing and able to buy.  I pick the showings.  Don't tell me about your Aunt Tillie, the Realtor in 3 states away who wants a referral. Don't tell me about the short sale/auction/foreclosure/bank owned property you saw online last night.  And lots more........ it's getting tough out there.  Good Luck!  you look better smiling.

Good advice and thanks for sharing with us. I always like the least priced house in the better area.
