Pictured above is the 101 Freeway heading to the Santa Ynez wine valley. Our lunch date was at Industrial Eats.
Industrial Eats has been a long time favorite restaurant of ours, since they opened in 2014. We were there when they opened, and we are delighted to see that they are thriving still.
Their appeal is that all their produce is locally sourced and organic. Fish and meat come from a 40 mile radius, as are the wines from the Valley.
Pictured above are Chanterelle mushrooms in the jar. They are back, thanks to the copious rains we have had in December. They thrive at the base of oak trees after the rain.
I have a wonderful pizza recipe that features Chanterelles with pancetta and radicchio...Industrial Eats had a special of the day pizza with Chanterelles and fennel sausage. This was topped with grated Asiago. We bought some for a pizza later this week.
Wishing Everyone a Wonderful Wednesday!
