On the Charlotte, North Carolina side of Bridgehampton, only one home was listed in the 4th Quarter 2021 at an asking price of $979,900. This home had not closed as of the end of the fourth quarter. There were no other sales during this quarter.


On the Indian Land, South Carolina side of Bridgehampton, four homes sold during the 4th Quarter 2021 at an average sale price of $663,00 and a median sale price of $640,00. On average, sellers received 99% of list price in final sales price. Cumulative average days on market were 6 days during the 4th quarter 2021. The median days on market were 7 days.  At 4th quarter end, one home was under contract and none were listed for sale.

Bridgehampton Neighborhood In Charlotte's Ballantyne Area: 

Perennially In-Demand Since 2000


Bridgehampton is a 544 home neighborhood built by John Wieland Homes, located on the border of North and South Carolinas in the Ballantyne area.  Approximately half of the community's homes are in Charlotte on the North Carolina side, while the other half are in Indian Land on the South Carolina side. The primary "visible" difference in homes is that the North Carolina homes were built as an all-brick/stone community, while on the South Carolina side, homes were primarily brick front with hardi-plank siding, although there were some homes that had three sides brick. Majority of the homes were built between 1999 and 2006.


Voted “Best Overall Community” by the Charlotte Homebuilder’s Association, Bridgehampton offers wonderful amenities, an active Neighborhood Association, a strong sense of community spirit and quiet, tree-lined streets complete with sidewalks and cul-de-sacs.

It's hard to run out of things to do in Bridgehampton.




Bridgehampton homes in Charlotte's Ballantyne areaThe majority of homes built in Bridgehampton are 2-story, but you'll also find 3-story homes, as well as homes with walkout basements. Homes offer four to six bedrooms and typically a minimum of three bathrooms. Square footage ranges from 3,200 to more than 5,000 square feet. Bridgehampton homes typically sit on .3 to .4 acre lots, considered generously sized lots in the Ballantyne area these days.


Within the Bridgehampton neighborhood is a separate, gated neighborhood of luxury townhomes -- The Gates of Bridgehampton. The Gates at Bridgehampton have their own homeowner association. The townhomes are 2-story homes, typically with three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, ranging in size from approximately 2,500 square feet to almost 4,000 square feet. The homes feature private courtyards for outdoor space. No townhomes in The Gates in Bridgehampton were listed for sale or sold in the 4th quarter of 2021 or in any quarter in 2021.

Bridgehampton is located just three miles south of I-485 in the upscale Ballantyne area of south Charlotte with easy access to Charlotte's Uptown, Southpark, the airport, and business centers. BUSINESS CENTERS: Ballantyne Corporate Park (3.5 miles away); South Park (11 miles away); Arboretum Medical Plaza & Business Center (6 miles away); Toringdon Center (less than 5 miles away).


PRIVATE SCHOOLS: Convenient to exceptional private schools, including: Charlotte Latin, Charlotte Christian, Charlotte Country Day, Providence Day, Charlotte Catholic High.


PUBLIC SCHOOLS: On the Charlotte side in North Carolina: Elon Park Elementary, Community House Middle School, Ardrey Kell High School. All three of these schools are rated 10 out 10 by GreatSchools. org. On the Indian Land side in South Carolina: Harrisburg Elementary (rated 8 out of 10), Indian Land Middle School (rated 9 out of 10), and Indian Land High School (rated 7 out of 10). Ardrey Kell High School continues to be ranked the #1 high school in the entire Charlotte region.


HOSPITALS: Atrium Medical Center in Pineville is reachable in 10 minutes. There are also numerous urgent care centers inside Ballantyne.


GOLF: A myriad of incredible golf courses nearby, including: Ballantyne Country Club, Firethorne Country Club, TPC@ Piper Glen,  Carolina Lakes Golf Club,  all 15 minutes or less away.


RECREATION: Great family recreation nearby including the Morrison Family YMCA, Carowinds Theme Park, Mecklenburg Acquatic Center, the Levine Jewish Community Center, Discovery Place, and numerous Charlotte public parks.

Endre Barath, Jr. Ballantine Beer is owned by Pabst Brewing Company. I think it disappeared for while, was relaunched some 10 years or so ago... but it's not readily available. I certainly have never seen it on a store shelf myself.
