Words do matter, far more than we often give them credit. They can set the tone for conflict, or soothe the savage beast.  Here's to a productive and joy-filled Thursday for all of us. 

N'yup. Sometimes it's hard tellin' not knowing too Michael Jacobs. Remember, wherever you go there you are. Take all the time you want as long as you respond in three seconds word worm holes can just be oral diarrhea too. Like blogs with filler to tank it to the 2000 word goal. Not worthwhile but looks like a nicely formatted blog post right?

Your post reminded me of what the aunt who raised me often said: "It's not so much what you say but how you say it."  Words and their inflection do matter and I suspect that's why the written word can often be interpreted in different ways by different people.

Hello Michael and I have to say I read two quotes a day to start my morning out, do not know why but I just do.

Hi Michael - and voice inflection works too.  Zig Ziglar used the sentence I did not say he beat his wife to show many different meanings.

Love the quote, Michael. I must admit, I never thought of Jimi Hendrix as an intellect but, those are definitely wise words!

In my college days, we had a gentleman in our dorms that would share a Jimmyism every evening about midnight.  It was  a fun distraction.  We may have had way too many distractions in retrospect, but that was fun one.
