CAN'T USE YOUR CELL PHONE?!!!

For those of you who have had your state already pass the "hands free" law disallowing the use of hand held cell phones, or for those of you who are Californians about to have this happen, what are you doing?  I would love to hear your experiences with bluetooths, car mounted hands free devices or choosing to be "cell phone celibate".

I have a Jawbone right now, and love it (and will love it again as soon as I can find where I misplaced it!)  Our association is also selling the kind that mounts on you visor...I'm not sure about that! My son is just going to use his speakerphone, although I am not sure this is legal.  What are you doing?

We have had the law for a few years.  Most people ignore it if you drive you will almost always see a few people. I even heard a certain Realtor in White Plains, NY has been spotted on the phone.

I try to use my speaker phone and keep it below the windows.  A lot of people like bluetooth head sets.

All the best!

No law in Florida yet prohibiting cellphone use while driving.  However, I use the speaker phone.  I think everyone should be cautious about using cellphones, hands free or not, while driving.  I tried bluetooth last year, but could never get comfortable with it and I hardly ever see one in use in my area.

I think it's a good law. I'm sure it will prevent a lot of accidents. In Virginia it just applies to young drivers under the age of 18.

I use OnStar when I'm driving. It has voice recognition for dialing and is easy to use.

I got a new cell phone that has Bluetooth enabled, and a Plantronics earpiece for about $30 at Costco. While it is pretty simple and doesn't allow me to dial, I can receive incoming calls and I think also use the voice command option that my cell phone has built in.

I hate using a cell while driving and have nearly been hit by people who do, so I don't mind at all that this law takes effect tomorrow. I bought my gadgets as a sort of emergency option if something comes up and I =have= to use my phone while driving. So far, that has not happened.
