The Holidays are over. For most of us we have taken down our holiday decorations and getting our homes back in order. Presents have found their way to their new spaces and life is getting back to normal.
I love finding the right Christmas gift for my grandkids! I begin early badgering their folks to make sure I know the high priority items on their list!
I’m always surprised and grateful when I receive in the mail their Thank You cards after New Year’s Day. They make me smile and my heart does a happy dance!
Taking the time to write a personal note at an early age is an activity that builds character and helps show them to respect the person who took the time to find them something special. Writing a simple "thank you" teaches them not to take people for granted and acknowledges that person matters.
