A Simple Way to Find Your Passion

For so many years, I always felt there was something wrong with me about not having a "passion". Everyone was talking about "finding" their passion and yet, I never found anything. What was wrong with me that I don't feel passionate about anything? Well, nothing. I just didn't know how to find within myself what sparked me. That's where real passion is. Find what really gives you energy and creating more of it. What ever makes you feel alive is what passion is. It is found within, not outside of yourself.

New to me and I'll make 2022 a journey inwards more often. What I do know is, I love what I do and what sparks me is seeing how my talents make a difference in people's lives. Just my thoughts for today.

... this is really a very interesting topic, passion!   I remember hearing a story from Jack Welch, past CEO of General Electric, and it referenced "passion vs PURPOSE. "  He talked about a multi-billionare, the name escapes me, but he owned the Jacksonville Jaguars when it became a franchise.  He sold the Jags and moved to Seattle in hopes of finding his passion with other acquisitions.  It was not until he was asked and begged to go with a friend to Africa and participate in helping children.  It was there that he discovered the difference between passion and PURPOSE.  Helping the needy with wheelchairs and everything else, that he truly created happiness.  He discovered his PURPOSE.  It's not always about wealth or passion.... discover why your hard work to earn as much money you can, so that you can satisfy your PURPOSE in life.  Just my two cents worth.

Passion? Do I have a passion in life? I don't know.

What I do know is...Life is Good.

That it is. I think the traditional thinking of passion is what is misleading. If you don't have it, is there something missing? No, what sparks you is actually passion, not any one thing, person or destination. Enjoy your day!
