This is such a cool thing to do Gloria!  We are starting to see birds come back and it's been fun watching them.  Not many yet, but by Feb 18th there should be more.  We have the water fountain running all day and that attracts many of them.

Hi Gloria- thank you for the reminder. We are so fortunate to have many birds now in our backyard. Our bluebirds have started a nest in the box as well.

Kathy Streib how nice to have bluebirds!!   I used to monitor local boxes years ago.  Prior to that I had never seen one in the wild.  They are beautiful birds.  Hope you have a lot of young ones!

I suppose one would need to know more than just a red one versus a black one and a small one verses a large one?

Ed Silva it helps, but even knowing just a few birds can make a difference.
