You go to the office and hunker down. My office is like a home away from home, and we do have power at the office, so we have heat and a microwave to cook with.
Soup and crackers are dinners on a night when you are in the office instead of at home.
Snow is scarce in our part of South Carolina; we are a southern state that gets maybe 1-2 snows per year of 1-2 inches. This storm will be in the record books as it is just over 6 inches now and predicted to snow all night. The power at home will be out until the end of business tomorrow. We counted ten spans on the ground and broken poles as we came to the office. Gusts of wind up to 50 miles per hour keep the power company from using bucket trucks to repair the lines. I hope the wind will lay, and they can do what needs to be done tomorrow.
Here are a few pictures of white snow at the office. Enjoy as we are ready for this mess to leave us and go somewhere else.
