Help Your Neighbors Remove the Snow

Good neighbors clear their sidewalks of ice and snow. Be a good neighbor! County residents are required by law to clear sidewalks in front of and alongside their properties within 24 hours of the end of a snowstorm.

This is a Montgomery County, Maryland announcement.

Someone shoveled the snow in front of our home late yesterday. A good neighbor. I cleared our walkways this morning.

Hello Roy,  My 4 grand kids in Ohio got 16 inches of snow and are out shoveling neighbors driveways.

Hi Roy Kelley - We don't get a lot of snow, but sometimes we can get 8 inches in a day.  My husband bought a snow shovel and ice pick just in case.  We have helped many neighbors.  In fact 2 years ago at our HOA annual meeting, we put together a list of neighbors with 4-wheel drive vehicles. We have two vehicles and my husband has off-road tires on his Rubicon Jeep and can drive through just about any terrain. This is the right thing to do to help your neighbors.

This is what good neighbors do.  Ron and I weed  the adjacent path of our neighbor, because she has back problems.  No one has to ask.  A

Roy, glad to hear someone shoveled a bit for you, you shouldn't be out doing that!   Stay safe.

As much as I love the beauty of snow, I'm glad I can visit it about 30 miles up the hill from my home here in the Sacramento Valley, but I don't need to shovel it.

Hi Roy- I love it when neighbors pitch in to help each other. We don't get snow here usually and not enough to shovel, but I know that we would help each other. Here in Houston, we look for boats during times of flooding!!!

Good morning, Roy... our next door neighbor cleaned off our sidewalk and walkway on Sunday evening after the ice stopped falling... or should I say he supervised his 14 year-old son clearing the street. :) Nonetheless, that gesture was much appreciated.

Roy Kelley - It's always nice to be a nice neighbor, especially to seniors when there is snow! I hope you are doing well.
