Tuesday's Treasures - Loving the Mimi Life

Everyone in my high school graduating class has grands - I was the very last one, Sam Shueh! I had my children late and they are starting their families even later! 

Right?! I'll take that and celebrate it, Endre Barath, Jr.! I'm thrilled to be 'old,' looking at the grass from this side and not the other...and welcoming a grand into the world - finally!! LOL

And, I'm so excited about spoiling this little boy!

We are just giddy, Georgie Hunter R(S) 58089! I have had a perma grin since the moment he was born! 

Oh, I haven't stopped smiling, Brian England! It's a whole new life and you know, I'm going to enjoy being a Mimi immensely!

Thank you! So, you know what I was going through!! Those high expectations and all of your friends having little ones...ahhhhh! I can't believe it's actually happened to us, Carla Freund! It happened to me so, I am so confident it will happen to you too!!

It takes a village and we are all ready for the challenge! I seriously cannot wait to help guide him to being the most amazing boy/man he can possibly be.

I remember how wonderful my grandparents were and I cannot wait to give this little one that feeling of grandparents' love. There's just nothing like it and I can't wait to return what mine gave to me my entire childhood (and into adulthood)!

Aww, thank you so much, Nina Hollander, Broker! I recently attended a high school reunion and we all joked that I was the one that dated one guy all through high school and college (they all thought we would marry) and I am the very last one to have a grand! 

I can't wait to hear about your visit with your great granddaughter in March - how very exciting!

I've been living vicariously through so many who were grands well before I was, Grant Schneider! I cannot believe I am finally one and savor every moment I get with that precious little one!

And, yes, I totally agree that changing a diaper is an exciting activity - definitely different lenses than what we looked through when the babies were our own!! LOL
