This week I heard some interesting facts in the news. So I am letting you know so we can say we were forewarned . We need to be ready for prices to go up on laundry detergent. Then after that more cleaning items .Proctor & Gamble will be making the jump in their items. They are the largest company so we will notice them first. It will happen soon and suddenly . I am really running low so by the time I make it to the store I hope the price will not give me sticker shock . For example, The Brand All liquid detergent scented or unscented 88oz size sale price is $7. 99 BIg Box Liquid size 145 oz size is on sale for $11.99 It is not a Proctor & Gamble product but let's see anyway. We will keep out eyes on it .
Valentines Day is around the corner. It is almost the end of January . February 14th is Valentin's Day. Here is a great idea for the men in your lives ladies ! Coach sells men's items as well as ladies . A man will smile as he opens a Coach box. Many men might want a power drill, but a nice key fob or cologne may not be something he would purchase for himself . Same thing for a wallet and it will be something he looks at everyday. The Dollar Tree now that it is the $1.25 store we are checking more carefully on the items we purchase. I am still totally amazed at the food. Furmans Texas toast for $1.25 -M&M ice cream sandwiches - Cool Whip 8oz - Now there is a unique little trash can that fits into your cup holder looks like a trash can and functions as one cute and does the trick .All clear disinfectant 30 count wipes have a nice lemon smell and works fantastic. Went back for another now have one in the kitchen & one in the bathroom. Next is LED plug in lights so cute, works and looks better than expected heart, round or square shapes and there were even a few Star Wars baby Yoda . Guess what, they even had a light up LED for the dog collar . Maybe the extra .25 is getting us the good stuff.
My favorite shoe store Hot Foot I am sure everyone has a local shoe store which is a boutique style shoe store . They were having their big end of season sale up to 75% off (tricky wording ) as Ron and Alexandra Seigel would say. More or less everything was on sale some more than others . One thing is for sure, if you are not careful you could easily go over your budget especially when they have a sale. Gita Bantwal would love when I posted local sales and she would love this one as she lives close by. This is a great time to buy stylish boots, sweaters, toppers and coats that you can wear now and then put away for next year too !
I had a doctors appointment close by, this shoe store and my doctor and I spoke about the economy and rising prices . I mentioned I was writing this blog and she had me write it down as she wanted to read it. Not much time to shop she said and her last food bill was $500 . Always like to read about what is going on . Then we talked Real Estate . Speaking of which :
Seller's Sales prices continue to rise despite typical seasonal slowdown. There was a 17 percent jump in prices since last year. It is still a very strong seller's market . Right now I have 10 acres of commercial ground listed in Bucks County Nockamixon Twsp and another piece of ground a double lot in the Bucks County, Bensalem Township with access to the river or should I say deeded riparian rights
