A Monday Musing -
Please Berra With Me
On Valentine's Day. . .
You can observe a lot by just watching
Recently, I received a notification that the above quote was a "past memory" from Facebook.
There was a time when it was a common practice of mine to share quotes on that platform. Today, it remains a bit of a mystery why I shared those particular words years ago. Beyond the fact that I have long enjoyed Mr Berra (his words and otherwise), I also find it interesting to reflect on how memories are collected.
Some people have minds who remember all sorts of things. And then there are those who write and thereby record it in that way. Others capture their thoughts in an artistic way that once might have been unimaginable. Still others make their point by doing. When reviewing the various methods, it's all about interpretation, isn't it?
These additional quotes each attributed to Yogi Berra continue my thoughts. . .
Baseball is ninety per cent mental.
The other half is physical.
It ain't over until it's over.
You wouldn't have won if we had beaten you.
And who can forget this classic?
I never said most of the things I said.
