Working on our niche video marketing has lead us to some old video discoveries we'll give new life. It's always smart to revisit your old videos and see if you can improve them, or give them important updates.
1. Check for old branding, for obvious reasons.
2. Optimize titles, keywords, tags, descriptions, transcripts, relevant playlists, and custom video thumbnails. They really do make a difference.
3. In our case, many of our old videos refer to our wonderful old pal, McKinley (aka) Mac. We will keep them in our library, but need to update some of them used in introductory videos.
Here's a video from 2012. It could use some updates and reason for being. In addition, you'll see this was when I (Debb) was working solo. New branding and some updates about the value of feeding birds will give it new life and purpose.
This one, from 2019, will also need some work. It too lacks a story. What are these bees, and why are they helpful for rural gardens?
Next week, we'll share the revisions.
